Hi, it is only the aperture value that controls the depth of field. In aperture priority you shouldn’t be able to lock the shutter speed to 1/8000 as it’s the camera that is choosing the shutter speed depending on what aperture you are using.

I was just wondering what happen to DOF when using the Aperture Priority and have it locked on to a shutter speed to 1/8000s?
